Northwick Park

My connective tissue genetic activities in the molecular genetics of
inherited defects of collagens types I,& III , PXE etc is transferring tom
Northwick Park in the near future. WE will have to set up the lab from
scratch and in the first instance, will need a Ph.D Service Manager to
co-ordinate the ce4ll culture collection, collagen protein assays and
electron microscopy. Later, technical support will be added. There is an
additional Glaxo-Wellcome Reseach post for two years, with 30% technical
support on a project to streamline the analysis of COL3A1 mutations in
vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. For the moment the lab will be in temporary
accomodation at the Institute of Medical Research, Northwick Park, but will
later tyransfer to the Regional Genetic Unit, also at Northwick. People can
contact me by E-mail in itially. Experience in matrix protein and DNA
analysis. especially with cultured fibroblasts is essential
